Wow. I actually had forgotten I had a blog I had to take care of for the past few days. Wow. And I even visited Anilee’s old WP blog, and I still forgot that.  And today was the strangest school day: we had “the largest earthquake practice drill in U.S. History” that had a PA system that informed us, “if an earthquake occurs and you are in bed, stay in bed.” LOL. 😆 On top of that, we had “the talk”. Allow me to end there, s’il vous plait.

ANYWAY.

CMAs!!! Ok, so I didn’t watch them, but I did record it and find out who won. I copied and pasted the winners and nominees waay below for those of you interested.  I’m really happy for Sugarland, Carrie Underwood (who co-hosted the show with Brad Paisley), and Lady Antebellum, but more so for Sugarland, b/c they really swept this year’s CMAs.  I mean, seriously, what is up with CMAs and not awarding female vocalists/bands for Entertainer of the Year?  They work as hard (if not harder) than the guys!!  Despite that, Sugarland actually got nominated for Entertainer of the Year!  Even though they lost that award to Kenny Chesney, I’ll really really excited and happy and glad and elated and….I’m running out of positive adjectives. 😉 Plus, it’s even AWESOMER that it was this year they got those awards and this year I got to see them live in concert.  I’m still grudging a little that I missed the meet-and-greet.  Oh well.  Next time I go to their concert I shall meet them.

What with CMA hangover for me (ya know, like how people are still suffering election hangover?  Current politics quickly got wiped off the whiteboard in my mind, hahaha), I thought of a funny game.  It’s called “BB is obsessed with country music when….” You play it like those other LRRH games, like “You are obsessed with LRRH/Shannon Hale/Harry Potter/etc. when….”  I’ll start off with a few, and if any of you guys come up with some you want to share (or you can link to here on your blog and start a post where you do the same game but with a different obsession you have; if you do this, please leave a comment! I would absolutely love to read similar posts to mine!! 😀 ) I’m uber curious to see what you guys come up with.

You know BB is obsessed with country music when….

she goes on Google and upon seeing her new e-mail, lady [dot] dashti, has to take a double take b/c she promised she thought it said lady [dot] antebellum. (har har har)

she tries to friend and subscribe to as many country artists as possible.

she screams when she sees that her computer is posting the CMAs…Red Carpet Show.

she talks about the CMAs in a full blast paragraph on her blog, and adds the whole list of winners/nominees on the same post.

she makes up this game.
